With the GOP National Convention drawing to a close tonight, and November just around the corner, I decided it was about time to make a political post. I’ll warn you now, if you’re conservative or Republican who can’t take direct criticism, then walk away now. However, if you’re willing to hear me out, whether or not you agree, feel free to read on.
First and foremost, if you didn’t pick it up in my last sentence, I support Obama for this coming election. No way around it, he’s the person I want in the white house come January, and the person I feel best suited to lead us into the next 4 years.
You may be asking yourself why I support him. I’ve sat here and tried to answer this question in my own words for the past hour, but it doesn’t seem like I can manage to do it without going off on some tangent about agreeing with Obama’s education reform or the corruption of the healthcare system in this country, and honestly, if I start on that road, we’ll be here longer than you or I want.
So instead of looking at “Why Obama?” I’m going to answer “Why not McCain?”
